why “Istanbul on Stilletos”? Well, I have moved to Istanbul just recently to start a new life. I mean a completely brand new life. In addition, I have an acquired passion for fashion (as a hobby). The little time I have spent in this town, first thing I have learned was that the combination of uneven pavements throughout 99% of Istanbul and my huge selection high heels (mostly acquired on huge sales) do not go hand in hand…for the untrained. I thought with this blog, I can start to document the journey of my new life in Istanbul and my journey of self discovery - personality, culture, and style - and finally learn the fine art of walking on stilettos in the streets of Istanbul, conceptually and maybe someday, literally.
